Description: Leica SP-8X MP is a spectral imager with a supercontinuum white light laser and tunable pulsed laser for two-photon excitation. The available resonance scanner scans at 8000 lines/sec.
This system is built on a DM6 microscope stand and Scientifica XY stage. It is configured for deep imaging of cleared tissue, intravital imaging and custom configurations requiring an upright optical path.
The system is equipped with three internal detectors (2 HyD, 1 PMT) and two external non-descanned HyD detectors for very low light imaging. This instrument is capable of Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) imaging.
